Oz Alashe MBE is the CEO and founder of CynSafe
Oz Alashe is CEO and Founder at CybSafe, an innovative and fast-growing British cyber security company based at the prestigious Level39 tech community in Canary Wharf.
He is the daddy of all cyber security experts. As a father of two young children, he worries about the online safety of his kids as much as the work of his GCHQ-accredited Canary Wharf firm CybSafe.
He has a successful track record of developing strategy, driving innovation and leading implementation in both the public and private sectors. Oz leads CybSafe and was awarded an MBE for personal leadership in the most complex and sensitive of conflict environments.
A former Commanding Officer in the Parachute Regimen and veteran of several tours in Afghanistan. Oz also served as a Squadron Commander (Lieutenant Colonel) in the UK Special Forces. Among other things, Oz will talk about the impact of his faith while serving on the front line.
Oz is now focused on making society more secure by helping organisations effectively address the human aspect of cyber security. He and his team have developed a software platform that leverages advanced data analytics and cognitive technologies to measure and improve cyber security awareness, behaviour and culture. He has extensive experience and understanding in the areas of intelligence insight, complex human networks and the human component of cyber security risk. He is also passionate about reducing societal threats to stability and security by making the most of opportunities presented through advancements in technology.
What are the breakfasts all about?
They are open to all men, irrespective of faith or none, who would like to join us for fellowship, an excellent breakfast and an interesting and inspiring speaker.
Feel free to invite your family or neighbours. We meet at 9am on Saturday on the dates below at The Barn (Harvester), Barnfield Drive, Chichester, PO19 7AG. Free parking on site.
The cost is £8 – includes the ‘Harvester recommends’ or other set cooked breakfast (there are several) or waffles & egg plus unlimited coffee/tea, unlimited serials, toast, pancakes, etc from the breakfast bar (for an extra £2 you are welcome to order the unlimited breakfast! which means you can have as many cooked items as you wish). If you don’t want a full English, vegetarian and smaller breakfasts are available too.
