Chris Hill

Chris Hill

Trustee

About

Chris, with Debbie, retired to Chichester in 2023, having served most recently as Rector of Ely, the city’s evangelical Church of England gathering, including planting two new congregations for families and those with no church background – before that Chris worked as an entrepreneur introducing a series of Californian software start-ups into Europe.

Chris has benefited over the years from the New Wine and Greenbelt networks and is passionate about helping people discover their God-given gifts and put them into practice; and ensuring that absolutely everyone, whoever they are, is able to find faith and play a full part in their local church. So he finds himself most often with people who are on the edges of church life wondering if it is safe to come in.
More recently Chris qualified as a leadership coach – currently practising in the charity sector – so he hasn’t managed to retire fully yet – but loves playing cricket, pickle-ball and drumming.
