Sundays

Sundays – what goes on?

Immanuel at Luffa –  we meet at Bishop Luffa School.

The service lasts from 10.30 to about 11.45am (or 12 when we have communion).

Sundays at Luffa start at 10 with coffee and chat (with donuts or cake) before the service begins at 10.30am. Our Welcome team are there – to welcome everyone! There’s time to get to know people and find out what’s going on.

We love to spend time worshipping God together, in a relaxed and informal way. We are led by our band in a range of contemporary music styles. We encourage people to take part. Maybe someone will bring news of what God is doing in their lives, or share some  Bible verses which they feel are speaking to us in a special way. We like to allow space for the Holy Spirit to come and refresh us and heal us.

Most weeks we have separate activities for children and young people during part of the service. We also have all-age services once a month, where the young people are very much involved.

For pre-school age children, we have space where parents can relax with their children and still be part of the service.

The Sunday talk – from our ministers and other experienced speakers. You can expect solid Bible teaching, which is inspiring and related to everyday life. And each month we share Communion together in a relaxed way.

After the service you can ask our prayer ministry team to pray for any area of life. And time for more coffee, donuts ( if there’s any left!) and chat…

If you can’t make it to Luffa, catch up later online
