 Mental Health and Wellbeing

However we do it, let’s have a conversation about Mental Health’

That’s how Elle Weaver (Mental Health and Wellbeing Advisor for Chichester Diocese) introduces herself on her webpage, (which has links to many useful resources).

To quote Elle again: “ Almost everyone will be touched by issues around mental health at some point in their lives, either through their own illness or the struggles of a loved one. 1 in 4 of us are emotionally unwell at any one time. Sadly, mental illness still carries a stigma and many find it hard to talk about. Church communities are well placed to help and support those who are struggling.”

Elle leads Together in Sussex – a team who  help churches and communities to build relationships and respond to the concerns of people where they live and work. To find out about some of the projects working across Sussex, please click here
