Healing On The Streets

Healing On The Streets

Welcome to our Healing on the Streets (HOTS) information page.

Mark Marx, who started Healing on the Streets in Coleraine in Ireland, describes it like this:

“The HOTS model is simple yet profound, gentle yet powerful, full of God’s presence and brimming over with love. We create a thin place on the streets where heaven and earth meet, and people can encounter Jesus. It is marked by a true sense of peace. Amongst the hustle and bustle of busy shoppers, walks the Prince of Peace. The kingdom comes, stillness falls; passers-by begin to slow and stop, as the deepening presence of God draws their hearts …… creating stepping stones for people to come to Jesus and be healed along the way.”

Healing on the Streets

We pray that this will be your experience of HOTS as we pray and ask Jesus to work through us into your life.

Our prayer team have all attended Healing on the Streets and safeguarding training. We all have a strong faith in God’s love for each one of us, and His saving grace, through His son Jesus Christ.

Prayer is offered to those of all faiths or none, respecting a person’s age, disability, gender and race.  The prayer team give their time freely, are caring and non-judgemental, and will show special consideration and gentleness towards those who are vulnerable or distressed.

The HOTS team will be in East Street Chichester on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 10am-12 noon. You are welcome to come to us as many times as you would like – you will never be asked for any payment.

We encourage everyone to seek essential treatment for conditions requiring medical advice.

If you are on any medication, STAY ON IT, under NO circumstances should you stop any treatment without first having consulted your medical professional or counsellor.
