Senior Minister

About

Paul became the senior minister of Immanuel Church in January 2017. He is an ordained minister in the Church of England, and before moving to Chichester spent time in parish ministry and chaplaincy in the Royal Air Force. Before being ordained in 2008, he had a career as a police officer with the Metropolitan Police. He is married to Lou and they have four children.

Associate Minister

About

James became Associate Minister at Immanuel on a part time basis in March 2018. He is an ordained minister in the Church of England, and he has served as parish minister in London. For over 10 years James has worked in a lead role in the South East region for the Filling Station movement for spiritual renewal. James and his wife Bethia and their three children  live in Chichester.

Shane Morton

Church Administrator

About

Shane was appointed as part-time Administrator from 1 Sep 2023. He also serves as a senior leader on the Leadership team.

He was one of the original leaders and trustees of Immanuel Church back in the 1990s.  

Shane is married to Jacquie, has three children and is a retired head teacher, having previously worked as an administrator in the Civil Service.

Children and Youth Worker

About

Emma started as our new part-time Children and Youth worker at the beginning of January 2024. She has been part of the Immanuel church family for two years, and has been serving as a co-opted member of the Leadership team since 2023.

Emma is married to Jonny – they have two young children and live in Chichester. She has been working as a primary school teacher until taking up this post.
