AGM- standing for election

Standing for election

Leaders and trustees

Each year a proportion of the leaders and trustees stand down, and there is the opportunity for others to stand for election.  This allows for a balance of continuity and change in the life of the church.

Registered church members share the responsibility of choosing who to vote for. To be elected, every candidate must obtain at least 60% of the votes cast for that vacancy.

Voting period: since 2020 we have voted in advance of the AGM, using online voting; proxy voting is also available. This year voting is open from 31st March to 14th April, before the AGM on 21st April.
